Metropolitan Police Summons 21 PAD leaders for Interrogation
Metropolitan police Pol Maj Gen Amnuay Nimmano said Friday that police had summoned 21 leaders of the People's Alliance for Democracy for interrogation over charges of unlawful gathering in front of Parliament on October 7.
Amnuay said the 21 PAD leaders would be charged with unlawful gathering in a group of more than 10 people and obstructing the works of the authorities.
The PAD tried to block the Somchai government from entering the Parliament compound to deliver its policy statement on October 7.
Amnuay said the PAD leaders were asked to meet investigators in a group of four of five, starting from Monday.
