Pol Col Somchai Patcharainto, deputy commander of Metropolitan Police Division 5, was suspended from duty for fifteen days pending an investigation into allegations that he had mishandled the Klong Toey Market disputes. The Division 5 is in charge of Klong Toey police station, which is in direct charges of the disputes between vendors at the Klong Toey Market and new concessionaire, Legal Profession.
