True Launches Fastest Thai Broadband

True Online launched Thailand's fastest broadband internet service yesterday. The 8-megabit connection costs 1,199 baht per month. The True Corporation subsidiary will expand its high speed broadband presence in Chiang Mai, Phuket and Chon Buri this year. It also plans to spend between 1.5 billion and 3 billion baht within two years to increase its Bangkok broadband capacity to 800,000 users. An additional 420 million baht is slated to increase international bandwidth from twelve to seventeen gigabits next month.
